On behalf of the Organizing Committee and international partners, the Orthopaedic World Congress 2026 is announced, to be held in the beautiful and historic city of Kyoto, Japan, from 29 September to 1 October 2026.

The Congress locations for the coming years are as follows:

2027 – Middle East or Africa and Europe as a back-up

2028 – Panama City, Panama (confirmed)

2029 – Brussels, Belgium (confirmed)

2030 – Mumbai, India (confirmed)

2031 – Africa & Middle East
We encourage all interested National Representatives to review the guidelines carefully and begin preparing their proposals. Applications must include the signed Candidature Agreement (available on the final page of the guidelines) and should be submitted no later than 15 July 2026.
